Spring Is Here!
Spring is here, in Cyprus. September and October in Cyprus are delightful, possibly the best time of the year for British and European visitors to the island.
Temperatures have subsided to below 30 degrees celsius. That means that you won’t have to dive into the first air-conditioned shop that you find when in town. You will be able to step from your car onto the pavement without immediately being bathed in a film of perspiration.
Summer in Cyprus is great if you love the heat. I find that September and October are so much better, you get the sunshine, day in and day out. There are fewer visitors at popular attractions.
Flights to Cyprus are cheaper than during the peak summer weeks when children are on school holidays.
Pack your swimmers because the sea is at its very best temperature. Warmed by the sun’s rays during summer, the sea is now delightfully warm. The Mediterranean Ocean is so much easier to get into than the Atlantic Ocean. You don’t have to deal with the massive rollers that crash onto the UK coastline. Whilst the Med is tidal, the rise and fall of the tidal movements are, for the most part, almost indefinable, they are that small.
With flights from Bristol to Larnaca available at under £50, what are you waiting for?
